My daughter Lilly was referred here from Boise, ID. She was born there and has had three of four open heart surgeries here. At no point have questions gone unanswered or by the wayside. The PICU floor is where my little girls mother LIVED for the first month and a half and for a total of about three months worth of visits for surgeries. Names like Ciccolo, Galindo, Rothman, and Norozian are only a few of the very special people that helped guide us through the biggest hurdle we as a couple had ever had to get over. Their confidence, skill and overall dedication to the lives of these small children is just amazing, BEYOND amazing. I have never been so deeply and emotionally affected by anything in my entire life. The things these amazing people have to go through on a day to day basis is mind bending. I love you all for the rest of my life. I thank you all for the gift you helped breath life into. She just turned two in December, because of you. We have one more open heart surgery to get through coming this summer. I don't look forward to it, but I do look forward to having you covering my baby girls back. Thank you all and god blessed every one of you.

It has been almost a year since my son was in PICU at Sunrise Children's Hospital for open heart surgery after he coded at home on Memorial Day unexpectedly. We are so lucky to have such a great pediatric heart team and support staff here in Las Vegas! The staff at Sunrise took such good care of him. I could thank you every day for the rest of my life for what you did for our little Carson, and it would never be enough. I will never forget the loving care he received there. You saved his life. <3

So to start things off my husband is Active Duty Air Force and we're required to go through the base hospital for just about everything unless referred elsewhere. Last night I took my daughter to the Base ER and ended up being transferred over to Sunrise Children's hosp because they couldn't give her the care she needed at the base. We arrived by ambulance transfer at SCH and immediately got great care and attention. The staff at Sunrise is amazing and caring and wonderful and if you ever need to have your child in a hospital it's the place to go! Our first nurse Sunny was sweet and kind and really did a great job getting us settled in at 4am. Robin our 2nd nurse was also very kind and sweet and did an amazing job. Dr. Hendrickson who performed my daughter's procedure was beyond accommodating with our million questions and did such a fabulous job. All in all our 24hr stay at Sunrise was nothing less than fantastic and I hope that if in the future my children need hospitalization that Sunrise is where we go!! Thank you to all the wonderful staff that took such great care of my girl!!
